Please arrive with enough time to set up your stroller and get situated. For me- with two littles that means 15-20 minutes before hand.
We will meet at the O steak & seafood parking lot. There is the large parking lot that has signs for “event parking” before getting close to the restaurant. I like to park to the right of the dumpsters under the trees (to keep the car & car seats cool when the sun is shining). This is also to the right of the stairs leading to the trailhead. Alternatively you can park on the street if that is more comfortable for you.
The WOW & Winni trail in total are just over 4 miles “point to point”. We will be doing only a small section of the trail in an “out and back” stroller walk. We will walk for one hour (9am- 10am) and cover just over 1.5miles, depending on pace and the amount of toddlers that will be walking alongside the strollers. The trail is 100% blacktop and great for all stroller wheel types.
There are several benches along the trail if people need a rest. There is plenty of shade but also a lot of sunny bare spots. Highly encourage to wear sunscreen and/or have sun coverings! Don’t forget your water!
