Are you a passionate scrap booker? A photo-album enthusiast? Do you want a way to share your history with your children or grandchildren?
If yes, consider signing up for our new 4-part workshop hosted by our Senior in Residence, Emmett Flood, called "Writing Your Life: Graphic Memoir Workshop." This workshop teaches the fundamental skills of making "living memoirs" - a method of record-keeping that changes with an individual's life.
By taking this workshop, attendees will leave with a memoir of their own that they can continue to build upon, with the insights and skills to be able to take this practice with them. Participants will develop their introspection, curation, and long-term commitment techniques. Many of the activities and sessions will specifically focus on writing and sketching as means of preservation, but it's a deeply customizable practice.
Friday's in September from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Registration required.
$10 per person for the entire course.
