Derek Piotr Fieldwork Archive

Derek Piotr will join us in the Main Reading Room to talk about the Fieldwork Archive he established in 2022. The archive contains over one thousand folklife audio recordings: ballads, hymns, tales, poems, songs, and interviews. Piotr will join us to talk about his journeys from the United Kingdom to Appalachia to collect recordings and develop the archive.
