Sushi – an artistic, intricate bite-sized dish packed with flavor and nutrients, culminated by decades of training, dedication, and discipline. Learn how to make these favorite Japanese dishes as Chef Koichi Kondo teaches you the art of sushi making: from perfecting the texture traditional sushi rice, proper handling and slicing of sashimi and vegetables, to forming and presenting the finished sushi. This class features seven recipes of sushi making: Temaki Sushi (Hand Roll Sushi), Barazushi (Scattered Sushi), Inari Sushi (Sushi Pockets), Futomaki (Thick-rolled Sushi), Tekkamaki (Hand-rolled Tuna Sushi), Kappamaki (Cucumber Sushi Roll), and California Maki.
