July 18th Meeting

Coming up this next Friday the 18th we'll meet at 7PM. At Allgrain Brew Supply in the West Valley Business Park Suite T102 at the address 6644 S 196th St, Kent, WA 98032. We'll start by having our usual education component discussing hot weather brewing options and our regular BOTFly where a brewer tries a style new to them. We'll also have an assortment of commercial beers to sample as part of our Style Sherpa.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and judged in our Lights On! competition. Also, thank you to everyone who came out to our awards ceremony. For anyone who was not able to make it or did not have club representative to bring back your prizes and medals we're sending those things out today so you should get them soon. As for the official list of winners, apologies for the technical issues but they have been published on the website https://www.impalingalers.com/lights-on-2025-winners/ as well as here on our Facebook.
We have the September 6th Hops Festival here in Kent at the Greater Kent Historical Society Bereiter House that both Allgrain Brew Supply and Impaling Alers is partnering with. Like last year there is a call for hops to be donated if you grow your own and can contribute. There will be a lot of events taking place as part of this festival including a beer tasting event, so please stay tuned for more information as the event date approaches.
