Ideal Comedy Showcase: Matthew Jacobsen

The Lucky Cat and the Ideal are proud to present a comedy showcase featuring a lineup of local, regional, and national talent the last Thursday of each month! $10

July's headliner is Matthew Jacobsen! He is a high energy stand-up comedian armed with stories, voices and faces. Matthew placed first in the 2024 “Funniest Person In Iowa” contest, and received the Nate Cockerill Stage Performance Award at The 2022 Cleveland Comedy Festival. He has also appeared in various comedy festivals around the country, including the Altercation Comedy Festival and the Sno Jam Comedy Festival.
