On a cold winter night on the Western Front of the First World War, a pause in the violence, a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Manβs Land singing βStille Nachtβ beginning an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace. All Is Calm tells the true story of this remarkable night through exquisite arrangements of traditional carols and actual words from letters, diaries, and first-person accounts of the men who lived through it.

- Required pre-rehearsals: August 17 (introduction, music assignments, etc) and September 14 (music, coaching, etc); rehearsals begin October 12.
- Seeking all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds for all roles.

Please prepare the high or low part in βWill Ye Go to Flandersβ and the high parts (Tenor 1 and 2) or low parts (Baritone and Bass) in βKeep the Homefires Burning;β you may be asked to sing more than one part. Some instruction, support and time with material will be provided. Please be prepared to learn and perform additional music from the show.
- No prepared reading or monologue required; please be prepared for cold readings from the script.
- Several roles require dialects; please be prepared to list and perform dialects that you are comfortable with (British, French, German, Irish, Italian, Scottish, et al.).
