Master the Perfect Steak

Join us at WCIC for a hands-on cooking workshop designed for teens (ages 14-19)

Pre-Registration is required! No on site registration.

This class is to learn the secrets to cooking a perfect steak! You'll gain confidence and practical skills in choosing the right cut, mastering seasoning and searing techniques, understanding temperature control, and even whipping up a quick side dish. We'll also cover essential kitchen safety and knife handling skills.
We will be using a Halal USDA certified Prime, Select or Choice cut of steak

Please ensure you can bring the following basic kitchen tools with you to the class from this checklist:

βœ… Cast iron skillet (10–12 inch preferred)

πŸ”ͺ Chef’s knife or sharp kitchen knife

πŸͺ΅ Cutting board to slice your steak

🍴 Tongs or spatula

πŸ₯£ Small bowl (for seasoning)

🧼 Clean kitchen towel

πŸ‘• Apron (optional but helpful)

🍽️ Plate or container to take food home (optional)
