Silent Walk for World Peace

This silent walk, together in nature, will give us an opportunity to reflect upon what peace means in a world seemingly divided by conflict, and to contemplate a deeper truth that we are not inherently divided.

We share a common humanity with all people everywhere. As we walk we will cultivate peace in every step we take together.

LOCATION:
Bundagaree Rainforest Walk, Bongil Bongil National Park

TIME:
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

TRACK NOTES:
Bundagaree Rainforest Walk is a beautiful 6-kilometre circuit through the lush rainforest and beaches of Bongil Bongil National Park. It is a Grade 2 track and is suitable for most fitness levels with generally flat terrain.

DIRECTIONS:
Directions depend on where you are coming from. The easiest way to find the walk starting point, is to put 408 Tuckers Rock Road into your sat nav. This will take you to Tuckers Rock Cottage. When you get there, just drive another 200 metres down to the carpark and this is where we will meet.

OTHER DETAILS:
After completing our walk, we will gather together to sit, eat and discuss what peace means to us and how we can foster greater love for all people around the world. Please bring your own food and drink to enjoy during this time.

Join us as we take steps toward a peaceful world, reminding ourselves that we are all deeply interconnected, no matter what our backgrounds or differences are.
