Hey! Please join us for a special evening at Chalice Abbey- Friday July 18- the return of Jay Boy Adams and Friends to Amarillo!! According to his guitar player (the great Woody Key) the last time Jay Boy’s band played in Amarillo was 1979! Jay Boy’s story is well-known in the Panhandle- touring as the opening act for ZZ Top, the Allman Brothers, the Marshall Tucker Band, Joe Cocker, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne and more. He retired from the road in the 80’s, and returned to music in the late 90’s. He’s got several albums to his credit including two released by Atlantic Records.
This show will start at 7pm, and there is a suggested donation of $15.00 at the door. The Fair Trade Store will be open for your shopping needs. We will have the usual refreshments, and BYOB is encouraged. Do not miss this extraordinary opportunity to hear some great music!
