Walk to prevent suicide and bullying

My name is Alicia, I am a mother of 4 who lived on cape for years with my children. We moved away about 4 years ago. My daughter Nevaeh attended elementary school in mashpee, Falmouth and Bourne before we moved. 10 months ago she took her own life due to bullying. She was only 13.
In an effort to keep her memory alive I have organized a walk in her memory and to bring awareness to bullying and suicide. My children still have lots of family who live in Cape cod and we recently moved to Plymouth. Nevaeh is buried in the old Indian cemetery and Cape Cod has always been considered home.
I am asking that parents, teachers and children of all ages come out to show support for this cause. Bullying is a nationwide crisis and so many children are suffering and many taking their lives. We need to show up for them and speak up. It’s our job to make sure they know we see them and that they aren’t in this alone. This will be a walk where people can feel safe and anyone who wants to speak will have a chance to do so before the walk. Water will be provided. Please consider showing up if you are free. I hope to meet some of you there.
If you cannot attend but would like to donate in her honor all donations will be going to NAMI Cape and islands. See link: https://namicapecod.org/donate/
Please remember to use “in memory of Nevaeh Perdiz” so they know what it’s for 💜
