Observing and Conserving our Wildflower Heritage

In this richly-illustrated talk, Finola Finlay will show us the wildflower abundance we find around us in West Cork. Wildflowers are adapted to particular habitats and each habitat will be described along with the flowers that find their niche there. She will also discuss growing your own wildflower meadow - what to do and what not to do.

As part of Heritage Week 2025, this event is funded by the Peatlands and Natura Community Engagement Scheme via the National Parks & Wildlife Service.
