Mark Bray & The SSC 600! from Fallston Barrel House!
On June 26th, 2012, Pop’s Tavern in Sparrows Point took a chance on a nobody kid from Florida. I remember that show like it was yesterday. 6 guys crammed on that stage behind a wagon wheel and played show #1. Everyone in the band was a music scene veteran… except for me. I was nervous, inexperienced, and naive about the business… but man, was I hungry. Now, 594 shows later, we are on the doorstep of show #600. 600 shows that have taken us from Maryland to Upsate New York, from Nashville to the to actual mountain tops in Colorado. 19 band members, 13 years, 2 studio albums, 2 top 40 radio singles, 20,000+ songs performed…. and the ride of a lifetime. In a lot of ways, I’m still that kid from Florida still desperately trying to do my best impression of guys like Dean Crawford, Ronnie Wayne, and Tyler Daniel while I’m up on that stage. Although some of the faces have changed and my knees hurt a little more after each show, I’m STILL ready to give you 600 more!
PLEASE join us as we celebrate our 600th show at Fallston Barrel House. We will have a guitar raffle, past band members, and a special opening set by the incredibly talented Rebel Radio . No cover charge. All we ask is that you bring your party shoes and be ready for a good time.
