Granite stones and monuments, rugged cliffs, windswept hills and moors, medieval fields and farms, summer visitors, filling our minds with a deep sense of our beloved land of Kernow. Cornwall – a Sense of Place takes you on a journey in music, words and images around this beautiful world at the end of the land.

Tir ha Tavas – land and language in Cornish – is Dee and Dave Brotherton, both Bards of Gorsedh Kernow. They have performed at a variety of festivals and events. They have recorded three albums – A Cornish Life with Bagas Porthia, Ogh Penndra Vyghan (O Little Village) and An Viaj (The Journey).Their award-winning production Towl Ros featured on radio and TV. They also represented Cornwall at the International Pan Celtic Festival in Ireland alongside poets, musicians, singers and dancers from all the Celtic nations performing in their respective native languages.
