Silver Sage Celebrates 41 Years of Service with Music, Community, and Purpose
This year Silver Sage Community Center, home of Bandera County Meals on Wheels, proudly celebrates 41 years of nourishing not just bodies, but hearts and spirits across Bandera County and beyond. For over four decades, we’ve delivered more than meals—we’ve delivered companionship, wellness, and dignity to our homebound seniors.
To mark this milestone, we’re inviting YOU—yes, the entire community—to join us for a day of music, memories, and meaning at our 2025 Silver Sage Songwriters’ Showcase!
📅 Saturday, July 26
🕛 12 PM – 8 PM
📍 Bandera Brewery Biergarten (3540 TX-16)
This family-friendly festival will feature:
- A full lineup of Bandera’s favorite musicians
- A 50/50 raffle
- Delicious food, beer, cider, and sodas
- A special performance by Art & Lisa, joined by the legendary John Inmon on lead guitar!
But this celebration is about more than music. It’s about preserving a lifeline. Due to significant federal funding cuts over the past two years, our Meals on Wheels and Congregate Meal programs are in urgent need of support. We ask you to remember: One day, you or someone you love may need these services. Let’s ensure they’re still here when that day comes.
So come out, bring your family, enjoy the music—and donate generously. Your presence and your support make all the difference. And while you’re at it, consider calling or writing your elected officials. Tell them our seniors matter. Tell them Meals on Wheels matters.
