Introduction to Sourdough Bread

Join us with Isabelle Laufer with a fun and educational presentation that walks through the basics of sourdough - what sourdough is, how it works, and why it’s so special. You will get to see, touch, and smell real examples while we talk through what makes a great loaf.

Features a show and tell so you can see the tools she uses to create the perfect dough. Attendees will take home a recipe card, sourdough care card, and a beginner sheet of how to make your own starter from scratch!

Isabelle, is a friendly breaducator here in Connecticut! A nurse by trade and a homegrown cook and baker by heart, she blends her love for teaching with a passion for all things homemade and steeped in tradition.
