Come Join us for a Special Summer with Ms. Connie Boggs!

Connie Boggs is the Library/Media Specialist at Monongah Elementary School with 15
years of teaching experience. In addition to the library, Connie runs the school garden
program. She loves hands-on learning and teaching others lifelong skills.



Sweet Little Artists
Ages 8+
Participants will learn basic cake decorating techniques while making a flower cupcake
cake. Each participant will take home an eight cupcake cake, decorating tools, and icing
recipe.

Roots and Shoots
Ages 5+
Participants will learn all about indoor gardening and different ways plants grow –
seeds, cuttings, and division – while planting three easy to care for house plants. Each
participant will take home a philodendron, aloe, and basil plant.

Craft-mas in July
Ages 8+ Celebrate Christmas in July by learning about Christmas traditions around the world.
Make and take ornaments from Mexico, Russia, and Denmark.
