Aster la vista, baby!
The Aster Family, Asteraceae (also known as Compositae), is the world's largest plant family. Go anywhere in the world and you'll find an aster, and our gardens would be bereft without them (think sunflowers, daisies, lettuce, coneflower, etc). Join Dr. Ross Bayton as he reviews the family, showing plentiful examples within Heronswood's renowned landscape.
All in-person classes are limited to 25 attendees. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
