Guardian Angels Bird Sanctuary Open Day

This is our yearly Open Day where members of the public can visit our sanctuary to see what we're all about and to raise necessary funds for our resident animals. Every penny earned throughout the day will go towards the upkeep of our ever growing "Noah's Arc" of beautiful creatures. There's not just birds, although there are 200 of them. They range from small finches right up to our 4 macaws. Also, there are 3 rabbits, 4 guinea pigs, 2 ferrets, 3 owls, 4 pygmy goats, 9 chickens, 3 Indian runner ducks and a pond full of koi carp and goldfish. It will be great to see you here and we promise you'll enjoy it. Our remarkably popular "Hook-a-Duck" game is only £1.50 per go and you win a prize of your choice every game. Our tombola has some brilliant prizes too at only £1 for 5 tickets. On the "Roll the Ball" game there is always alcohol to be won with a large bottle vodka this year and a big cuddly toy is on offer as well. "Play Your Cards Right" has some fantastic prizes as well. Then of course, our homemade cakes, tarts, brownies and scones are the best value for money anywhere. Plus, there'll be hot food, including burgers, hot dogs and bacon cobs and hot and cold drinks all day. There'll be plenty of seating where you can enjoy your food whilst watching the various animals go about their day. Entry is only 50p and under 12's get free admission.
