We are taking a well deserved rest from Dava Way work parties in July, so our next work party won't be until Saturday 9th August.
May we take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers for their hard work so far this year with over 640 hours of voluntary work to help maintain and improve the path. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by all those that use the path and the Dava Way Association Trustees who organise the work parties and provide the necessary tools and equipment.
Special thanks also go to all those that helped to make this year's Dava Way Ghost Train Walk a great success. Unlike when we first started to run the Ghost Train Walk over 15 years ago, we now involve other local orgnisations to help us keep the participants safe, well fed and suitably entertained. The Forres Scouts kept us all well fed and entertained, while COTAG and Scotia Medical kept a close eye on our wellbeing and provided communication links to parts of the Dava Way without mobile coverage.
We look forward to seeing you on a work party soon!
