The Story of Naomi Blake 1924-2018
Sculptor & Auschwitz Concentration Camp
Holocaust Survivor

Naomi’s story is told by her daughter Anita Peleg using audio testimony by Naomi, historical photos and sculptures of Naomi’s, many of which are inspired by the holocaust, but they speak of hope for humanity and for greater understanding between religions; demonstrating the strength of the human spirit to survive against the odds and provide a positive legacy for the future.

King’s Lynn Minster is fortunate to have a Naomi Blake sculpture amongst it’s collection of treasures. ‘Refugee’ is one of over 70 pieces exhibited here in 1990 as part of the fortieth King’s Lynn Festival and was donated to the Minster by the artist herself.

Anita works with the charity Generation 2 Generation a Holocaust Education Charity, established to empower second and third generation Holocaust survivor descendants to present their family histories to a wide variety of audiences. Through the use of survivor testimony, we aim to keep these Holocaust stories alive and promote the importance of inclusivity and human rights.
