Walking History Tour
£2 Members £5 non-members (price does not include food).
Join us on a short, guided walk looking at 10,000 years of Torquay’s history. We’ll begin at the medieval Torre Abbey, continue through the Italianate Gardens and ponds, and maybe climb Rock Walk for a magnificent view of the Bay. For those of us who want to avoid the steps we can meet again at the Victorian Pier where we can indulge in an award-winning fish and chip lunch. The walk will be led by renowned and respected historian and author Dr Kevin Dixon. On-street parking is available at the Abbey. A certain level of fitness is required for the walk. Booking essential and payment secures your place. Let me know if you intend to join for the Tour, lunch or both!
