Family Rocky Shore Explore at Dalebrook Tidal Pool in celebration of MPA Day

In celebration of MPA Day, we're excited to announce that the Two Oceans Aquarium family will be venturing along the stunning natural shoreline of Dalebrook Tidal Pool on Saturday, 2 August 2025, for a family-friendly Rocky Shore Explore, from 13:00 to 15:00.

When: 2 August 2025 from 13h00 to 15h00
Where: Dalebrook Tidal Pool, St James
Wear: Non-slip shoes, waterproof or quick-drying clothing
Bring: Hat, sunscreen, water in a reusable bottle, phone camera

What is a Rocky Shore Explore?
A Rocky Shore Explore is a wonderful opportunity for families and loved ones to adventure through rock pools and discover some of the incredible animals and plant life that inhabit our diverse coastline.

The idea is that families explore these rock pools together, using provided information to learn to identify the sea stars, anemones, seaweeds, and other organisms they see - the Aquarium and our Ocean Campus education will be there to help out if you find anything that you truly do not know. Located within the Table Mountain National Park MPA, Dalebrook Tidal Pool is sure to delight explorers of all ages!
