Archives Encounter: Madelyn Pugh, “Girl Writer”

Learn the story of legendary comedy writer Madelyn Pugh as you explore scripts and working documents chronicling her role in the creation of, I Love Lucy and other television classics. Archivists will be stationed periodically near the Page to Stage exhibit area inside the National Comedy Center.

This event is part of the National Comedy Center’s annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival featuring over 50 events happening August 7–10, 2025, in Lucille Ball’s hometown of Jamestown, NY.
