Enchanted Circle Wildfire

I am reaching out on behalf of a research team conducting a community-based study on wildfire mitigation across the Enchanted Circle region in New Mexico. We are gathering local perspectives from residents, including business owners and representatives, in Taos and Colfax Counties to better understand how wildfire mitigation efforts are perceived and experienced.

We will be hosting public community workshops in Red River, Angel Fire, and Taos from July 21–24, 2025, with sessions held each day at 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM. Each interactive session will include hands-on demonstrations and open dialogue focused on wildfire treatment strategies in the Carson National Forest.

We are inviting 12 participants per session, and we’re especially eager to include local residents and community leaders whose voices are vital to this conversation. Each participant will receive a $100 gift card for their time, and we will provide lunch or dinner depending on the session.

We invite you to register and participate to represent your community, and ask if you would be willing to share this invitation with your

pre-registration form: https://lnkd.in/etSMkbUe. You may also email Y2FybWFubWVsZW5kcmV6IHwgdW5tICEgZWR1 for registration support.
