Kick off to Old Home Week ~ Marcia Wytrwal, also known as
MJ and the Gang.
Marcia sings music of The Great American Songbook and more, with a passion for the music!
Marcia’s earliest influences incorporate everything from the bebop harmonies of Lambert Hendricks and Ross to the playfulness of Ella Fitzgerald, the fire of Anita O’Day, the cool of Astrid Gilberto, and the breeziness of Rickie Lee Jones. Most recently, Marica has been singing with Silver Threads, the Linda Ronstadt-inspired show, and as one of three singers in Trio, singing the music of Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, and Emmylou Harris.
In both shows, she sang with the wonderful singers Sonia Schonning and Sara Sneed.
