Preservation Action Workshop

Prepare for some super grooviness to come our way! If you want to know more about historic buildings and how to assess their issues (and even better, how to fix them!), then we hope you can join us for our Preservation Action Workshop! THE David Mertz, former director of Belmont College’s renowned Building Preservation/Restoration program, will be in Ashland, speaking on how to be a good steward of your historic building, and how to evaluate little problems, before they become big ones! We are excited to host him at Luna, the amazing new cocktail lounge above our friends (and members!) at The South Street Grille (a bonafide beautiful "after"). We hope you can join us to learn all about taking care of these landmarks in our community. Our workshop is Monday, July 21st, at 6. This event is free, but Luna is not huge- if you want to join us (as well you should), I would suggest showing up earlier rather than later.
A huge thank you goes out to Heritage Ohio for not only being the creators of this workshop, but also offering it for free to Main Street organizations who put together a sweet video showcasing their downtown. Spoiler alert- we were one of those winners! A HUGE thank you goes out to our friends (and members!) at Bryan Media, who created the killer (winning) video for our submission. If they can make me look good in front of a camera, they can make you look incredible!
