Join the Storytelling Celebration at Lansell Square!
These school holidays, we’re excited to invite young artists to help design the front cover of our Drawing Us Together 2025 community storybook.
Be inspired by 13 powerful stories from Indigenous authors across the country, woven together under this year’s NAIDOC theme: 'The Next Generation; Strength, Vision, and Legacy.' Through the magic of illustration and shared storytelling, we’ll celebrate connection, culture, and creativity.
Kids can grab an entry form, get creating on the A4 landscape piece of paper, and submit their masterpiece to go in the running for cover stardom.
Dates: 16-19 July
Times: 10am–1pm
Location: near Kmart
Cost: FREE
All submissions over the school holidays will be considered, before six finalists are chosen. These six finalist artworks will then be voted on by our authors and tenants to determine the winner who will feature in the final book. All finalists will be invited to the awards ceremony in August (date to be confirmed), and the winner will receive a copy of the book.
