Join artist and teacher Susan Chrysler White for an explorative, abstract, and fun acrylic painting class that will give you an in depth look into her creative process, and give you hands-on artistic experience in the style of her work. Get ready for some fun, messy, and freeing painting techniques! This class will take a deep dive into acrylic painting, where you’ll learn about layering colors and how to create surprising overlays using Susan's unique style. Using small bottles of paint and spray bottles, we will also squeeze and press acrylic paint directly on paper to create complex compositions of colors and patterns. After painting on transparent glassine paper, we'll collage the elements we create onto a larger painting on paper. Each student will come away with some beautiful art to take home!
