Join author and illustrator Jacoby Matott as he celebrates his 33rd birthday with the long-awaited launch of Pumpkin Guts: The Hellbound Halloween, a 304-page graphic novel over a decade in the making. This horror-themed adventure follows Nancy and her gang of teenage misfits, the Ravens, as they confront an ancient sorcerer who turns a Halloween festival into a terrifying battleground of ghouls, ghosts, and monsters. When one of their own is taken, the group must fight to save her before itβs too late. Geared toward mature readers and fans of horror, Halloween, and cult cinema, the evening will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and a Q&A. While the event will primarily serve to distribute books to Kickstarter backers, a limited number of extra copies will be available for purchase and signing. Jacoby also hopes to be joined by his colorist and editor to share more about the collaboration behind this milestone project. Admission is free.
