Join us for Stories of Us!
Little ones and their families are invited to experience the richness of San Diego’s diversity through storytimes, musical presentations, or hands-on activities with local community members to create meaningful discussions and insights into the many cultures they may encounter in their lives.
Saturday, August 2| 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Enjoy a celebration of Buwan ng Wika, “Language Month”! Families will enjoy a bilingual storytime in Tagalog with local author Dr. Jocelyn Francisco, a traditional Filipino dance performance from Samahan Filipino American Performing Arts & Education Center, and creating paper dolls in traditional Filipino clothing while learning about the history and traditions of the Philippines’ annual holiday.
Free with Museum admission. All adults must have a child present to attend.
