Is my baby’s babbling actually a form of speech? Is my baby talking to me? Join Speech Language Pathologist Lakyn Habiger, Capper Foundation, to learn how you can encourage your child’s speech development from birth. This workshop will be offered on Tuesday, August 12 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center in Gage Park.
This workshop is offered as a part of Discovery Baby, a free, a free, fun program to introduce babies and their caregivers to a world of learning and play! Parents who attend can meet other parents with babies and chat with experts in a fun, casual setting at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, when the museum is closed to the general public. The program is open to parents with a child under 12 months old. Only babies and caregivers may attend. No advance registration or sign-up is required.
Discovery Baby is generously sponsored by Stormont-Vail Health.
