Culver City English Country Dance (CCECD) is thrilled to announce our 2025 Playford-to-the-Present (P2P) Ball for experienced dancers!

Join us on the First Saturday in October, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., at Pasadena Scottish Rite.

We're delighted to welcome MELISSA RUNNING of Washington, D.C. as our dance leader! She will teach a fun program of dances to wonderful live music from an incredible trio of musicians: SHIRA KAMMEN (violin), AUDREY JABER (violin), and ANITA ANDERSON (piano).

Advanced registration is required, and registration is OPEN NOW! You can register by mail or online. Payment can be made by check with your printed registration form, or electronically via Zelle or PayPal (PayPal prices include $2 to cover the fee). Visit our website to register:

Please note: Refunds will only be given if the event is canceled.

This ball is for knowledgable dancers. It is assumed that all attendees are familiar with basic ECD figures, and should be familiar with the dances in the program. All dances (except FTWK dances) will have a brief walk-through and prompting, but there will be no teaching at the ball. Visit our website for more information about what makes an experienced dancer. https://culvercityecd.com/p2pball/#about

Join us for our dance practices leading up to the event! Practices are held September 7 and 21 at Lindberg Park Stone House, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. (Also attend our regular CCECD dances on Second and Fourth Sundays!) We'll also have a Ball Review on Friday, October 3 at Skandia Hall in Pasadena.
