Fit Camp at the Indian Lake Community Garden

Are you looking to workout without being in the gym, but with a group of awesome people who are reaching for the same health and wellness goals?! Well, join us at Fit Camp, where we get to explore various calisthenic workouts.

Calisthenics is a form of exercise that utilizes a person's body weight as resistance to perform various movements. It involves exercises that engage multiple muscle groups, such as: push-ups, pull-ups, squats, lunges, dips, planks, and burpees. Calisthenics exercises can be performed with minimal or no equipment, making them accessible and affordable. They can help improve strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, and overall fitness.

We will go through a 10 minute warm up, 35 minute workout, and end with stretching and uplifting group reflection on our goals in nutrition, movement, and ways to keep the energy going!

Audience: All ages.

All programming will take place at the Indian Lake Garden, across from 3 West Boylston Drive Worcester, MA 01606.

The garden is a zero-waste site. All items or trash brought in, must be taken out of the garden.

The nearest public facility is located at Price Rite: 14 West Boylston Street. Seating at the garden can be limited, therefore if you’re able to provide your own outdoor chair or blanket to sit on, that would be appreciated.
