T.REX - at Stardome

Dinosaurs have inspired and thrilled audiences, commanding blockbuster status in museums and at the box office. But among them towers a king—a tyrant lizard king. With leaps in CGI wizardry and revolutions in tyrannosaur paleontology over the past twenty-five years, the time has come to revisit Rex in fulldome!

This film features stunning 360-degree footage partly filmed in Otago and takes viewers on an immersive journey into the world of Tyrannosaurus rex and its ancient Cretaceous period counterparts.

Narrated by Jurassic Park star Sam Neill, the show blends science, adventure and cinematic magic.

Recommended for ages 5+, some scenes may be scary for younger viewers.
