"The Wall That Heals" is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., and has traveled to nearly 800 communities across the United States.
It comes to Jefferson Barracks County Park this July.
"The Wall That Heals" includes a Mobile Education Center and allows veterans and their families to experience the memorial’s comfort and peace within our own community.
Experience the Opening Ceremony of "The Wall That Heals in St. Louis" with friends, family, and veterans. Begin your morning with a hearty breakfast at Soldiers Memorial Military Museum and then board a bus for a trip to Jefferson Barracks County Park to be there in time for the Opening Ceremony.
SCHEDULE
7:30–8:45am | Breakfast buffet and comradery at Soldiers Memorial Military Museum
9am | Depart Soldiers Memorial for Jefferson Barracks County Park
10am | Opening Ceremony at Jefferson Barracks County Park
11am | Personal time to view "The Wall that Heals" and its Mobile Education Center
11:45am | Depart for Soldiers Memorial Military Museum
12:15pm | Return to your vehicle at Soldiers Memorial Museum
Parking will be free and convenient. Look for signs covering meters on 13th and Pine Streets that read: “Reserved for The Wall that Heals.” Those spots will be reserved for event attendees.
Registration for the free Soldiers Memorial breakfast and bus is required.
Registration to attend the Opening Ceremony on your own at Jefferson Barracks County Park is not required.
