Join us for a great evening under the stars at Trenton Town Park!

The evening begins with the program:
"ASTRONAUTS, ROCKETS AND ROBOTS...
AND THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION"

NASA Solar System Ambassador Carol Higgins takes us on a trip to the International Space Station. During our fun adventure to the world’s premier research laboratory, we will learn what it is like to live and work in space, how astronauts travel to the station, and take a look at some examples of robotics and the robots that assist astronauts and ground teams.

After the program, astronomers from the Mohawk Valley Astronomical Society (MVAS) will have several telescopes setup and ready for you to observe the summer night sky. The dark skies at the park are away from city lights and offer great conditions to see stars, galaxies, and other objects including the Milky Way Galaxy.

The event is hosted by the Prospect Free Library and is FREE, so make sure you bring along your family and friends!
The Trenton Town Park address is: 8659 Fish Hatchery Rd, Barneveld NY. We will be in the upper pavilion, look for the sign.

PLEASE NOTE: THE EVENT IS WEATHER PERMITTING
