Lettuce Read @ Market!!!

Please bring the kiddos and enjoy a FAMILY FRIENDLY event at the Farmers Market! Saturday, July 19th at 9 am, Farmer Carrie will be reading "Wild Summer: Life in the Heat". A story of a young girl and her grandfather, adventuring together to discover animals, plans, & insects that thrive in the heat, and even fossils that are a result of changing weather. The Imagination Library of Boone County will be offering free, age-appropriate books for kids. Following the book reading, each child will have the opportunity to explore for fossils and receive their own "fossil discovery tools". There will be FREE popsicles and a little water fun to cool those tiny toes! We are SO excited for this fun event! Hope to see you there, on the square! Market opens at 7 am, closes at noon.

After market, feel free to stop by the Boone County Library and find out more about their "Color Our World" summer reading program.

Look for the SIGNAGE and beautiful quilts along the west side of the courthouse lawn!
