Soap Making with Foraged Plants

Each $30 registration fee covers the cost of one approximately 2 pound batch of soap-about 8 bars. In case of cancellation, there is no refund.
Join us in making cold process soap with locally foraged ingredients. We will walk step by step through the process - each registered adult will take home their own soap they will make during the class*.
*If you are registering with another adult and would like to share your soap (you will make approx. 2 lbs of soap - about 8 bars) you can register as a family.
Due to the extreme high temps reached during cold processed soap making, and due to safety considerations when using lye, accompanying children should be 10 years or older. Please reach out if you have any questions about this policy.

You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.
