Join me for Yin Yoga! This class is the perfect compliment to an already established exercise routine. Yin Yoga stretches deeper than the muscles of a regular Yoga class, it stretches the tendons, ligaments, and the fascia around the muscles helping to decrease joint pain and muscles cramps. By holding poses for 3-5 minutes, connective tissues lengthen and become more pliable, joints are nourished, and even the bones are strengthened. -Bernie Clark
Yin Yoga encourages you to find stillness in the long holds, calming the body by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Allowing the muscles to relax, lets them rest and repair. You will also find your flexibility and strength increasing. So come relax and let gravity do the work! Props are provided and beginner's are welcome!
