Meet the Puppets from “Romeo & Zooliet”

Have you ever wondered what happens when the Zoo closes and the keepers go home for the night? Well … what if the animals put on their very own Shakespearean performance?! Join St. Louis Shakespeare Festival Artistic Producer Tom Ridgely and playwright Jennifer Joan Thompson for a fun reading from Ian Lendler’s children’s book“The Stratford Zoo Midnight Revue Presents Romeo and Juliet,” basis for the family-friendly stage adaptation produced exclusively for the Saint Louis Zoo: “Romeo and Zooliet,”onstage July 8-August 17. The event will include a library parade of the show’s dazzling puppets by world-renowned Michael Curry Design, known for its work on Broadway’s “The Lion King” and “Frozen.”
