Introduction to Stained Glass: Copper Foil Method
This hands-on class will introduce you to the basics of stained glass using the copper foil technique, a popular method for creating beautiful glass pieces. Starting with the basics, you'll learn:
• Pattern Basics
• Cutting Glass
• Fitting Glass
• Copper Foiling
• Soldering
• Finishing Your Piece
We will bring the patterns, glass, tools, and anything you will need to complete a small suncatcher. Please bring a covered drink and lunch or you can order something.
Key Details:
• Must be 18 or older
• Non-refundable and non-transferable; reschedule if needed
• You will be exposed to sharp glass, lead, and chemicals to speed up the patina process of your finished piece
• Long pants and closed toe shoes are recommended
