Join Nature Nova Scotia and the St. Mary’s River Association for a Guided Moose Conservation Hike
We’ll begin at the St. Mary’s River Interpretive Centre for a brief talk about our ongoing mainland moose conservation work. You’ll hear the latest findings from our study, get an update on the status of the species, and have a chance to ask questions during a short Q&A with our Conservation Coordinator, Jess.
Afterward, we’ll carpool to the trailhead and begin our hike. Along the way, we’ll learn how to identify moose tracks, scat, and browse, and take time to enjoy the local plants, birds, and other wildlife.
