Celebrating four decades of nurturing beauty from nature, South Australia’s globally renowned skincare brand Jurlique will host an exhibition first on its biodynamic far in the Adelaide Hills as part of the SALA Festival 2025.

In a landmark collaboration with Guildhouse, the exhibition Jurlique: 40 Years of Nature, Nurture and Art, opening 2nd August will showcase a dynamic collection of work by Guildhouse Members and South Australian artists Shirley Jianzhen Wu,
Samuel Mulcahy and Tim Shaw responding to the farm, its seasonal rhythms, and its enduring connection to place.

Curated by Guildhouse, the state’s leading body for visual art, craft and design, this exhibition brings together South Australian artists whose work reflects a deep connection to nature, place, and sustainability, values at the core of Jurlique’s philosophy.

Founded in the Adelaide Hills in 1985 by Ulrike and Jurgen Klein, Jurlique was born from a vision to create pure, high-performing skincare harnessing the power of nature. For 40 years, we have followed the same meticulous path from seed to skin, growing and harvesting botanicals on our biodynamic farm and nurturing the land with care and respect.

This exhibition is an expression of that journey, where art, science, and nature intersect. It invites audiences to reflect on the rhythms of the seasons, the beauty of the local environment, and the creative practices that flourish in this uniquely South Australian context.

As we celebrate this milestone, we honour not only our past but also the community and environment that have sustained us. Through this collaboration with Guildhouse and participating artists, we share the story of Jurlique in a new form — one shaped by imagination, connection, and creativity.
