KoaLaMan sets off on his long walking journey to Sydney to deliver a letter to Chris Minns asking: "Where is our Koala Park?" and also calling for a wider "Stop to Native Habitat Logging".
Homeless, and his family and friends facing extinction, KoaLaMan will visit every elected representative on the way, Lib/Nat/Lab/Green/Ind. asking them to support his cause.
After 8.30 am meet for a quick coffee, and impromptu rendition of the 'KoaLaMan Song', then it's off down the link road, through Bongil Bongil National Park and Giinagay Way to Urunga on day 1, where a brisk pace will be needed to cover the 26 kms before dark.
Co-walkers welcome for parts of the way( footpaths only).
Day 2 will see him gather with friends at the Liberty Cafe in Urunga @ 9.30 am for brekky and a chat , before setting off to Nambucca Heads @ 10 am. NBN News will be present doing a story for the Evening News.
