The SP7 is prouud to present the “Gaudí Sketches” a collection of songs written in celebration of the great Catalan architect Antoní Gaudí, most famous for designing the Sagrada Familiar in Barcelona.
The SP7 is a new jazz septet consisting of a mix of prominent and up and coming Sydney Jazz musicians including Nishcal Manjunath (sax), Heather Prowse (Trumpet), Lee Orszaczky (Trombone), Yutaro Okuda (guitar), Ravi T-Ray (piano), Mitchell Minotta (drums) and lead by bassist and composer Siebe Pogson. Siebe is most known for leading the jazz-funk Funk Engine and for being a founding member and composer of the jazz cross-over group Elysian Fields working alongside Matt Keegan, Matt McMahon and Dave Goodman.
Matt McMahon will play the play the first set, followed by SP7.
