Children’s sewing lessons package

KIDS SEWING LESSONS Tuesdays July 21 through August 12, 10:00-12:30. Space is limited for this four-session lesson package for kids ages 8 and up. Each child will have his or her own machine to operate, thread, and troubleshoot. We will complete four projects that will incorporate aspects of our lesson for the week. Week 1: learn to thread your sewing machine and make a stitch book! Week 2: we will make a decorative summer garland. Week 3: we will make a stuffed plushie, and Week 4: we will make a project of each sewist's choosing! The cost of tuition includes machine, all materials, and instruction. The children will leave the session knowing how to operate a sewing machine, sew a straight line, and become familiar with various tools and materials of the trade.
