Tether – A searing duet choreographed by Jera Wolfe, one of this county’s leading choreographers. He dances the work with Miyeko Ferguson, an exquisite dancer in her own right. The work explores the intimacy and synchronicities that develop over the course of an enduring partnership.
Jumelle(s) – The premiere of a duet exploring flexibility and adaptability created and performed by the stellar Marrin Jessome (Halifax) and Brayden Jamil Cairns (Toronto). Brayden is a longtime artist with Rock Bottom Movement and currently also a member of Toronto Dance Theatre’s 2024-2025 Company Ensemble.
After Godot – The festival presents the revival of Randy Glynn’s acclaimed Canadian Modern Dance classic. This powerful and poignant work is based on Samuel Becket’s 1953 tragiccomedy.
