Chilliwack Hospice Society — Memory Makers Children's Grief Support Group

Hosted by Chilliwack Hospice Society, Memory Makers is a gentle and supportive grief group designed especially for children ages 7–11 who have experienced the death of someone special. This four-session, closed group offers kids a safe space to explore their feelings through play and creative activities, while connecting with other children who are also navigating loss.

Facilitated by Child and Youth Program managers Kaylee Lovesy and April Girgis, Memory Makers encourages healthy expression of grief and helps children honour their loved one’s memory in meaningful ways.

Held Wednesday afternoons in August, this free summer group supports families by giving young participants the opportunity to share their story, build coping tools, and feel less alone in their grief.

Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register for Memory Makers Children's Grief Support Group, please contact Kaylee Lovesy, BSW, Child and Youth Program Manager, at (604) 795-4660 or email a2F5bGVlIHwgY2hpbGxpd2Fja2hvc3BpY2UgISBvcmc=.

This Chilliwack Hospice Society program is provided free of cost thanks to the generosity of individual donors and businesses in our community.
