Start your weekend off on the right foot and join us for Saturday's Walk with a Doc! Our walk steps off at 9am at Onondaga Lake Park (Meet on the grass in front of parking lot next to the Visitor's Center).
All Upstate Walk with a Doc events are free and open to the public. Fruit and water provided.
Dr. Zachary Shepherd, MD will lead this week's walk. His specialty is Internal Medicine and this week's topic will be: “Bug Bites: What to Know, How to Treat, and When to Seek Care.”
Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare provider, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation.
It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walk your own pace and distance.
Upstate's WWAD group will meet the second Saturday of each month from 9-10 am. Meet by the Skate Park, 6700 Onondaga Lake Pkwy, Liverpool, NY.
